State  Regulations

The food industry is important in Wisconsin which is why all cities require food establishments to have a Certified Food Protection Manager present during all hours of operation. Managers must pass an accredited exam to demonstrate their knowledge of food safety regulations.

Recertification is required every 5 years.

In order to receive your Food Protection Manager certificate, you will need to complete the exam in a proctored environment.
