State Requirements

As of January 1st, 2018, all food managers must complete a minimum of 8 hours of department approved training. This means that managers must complete an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) approved training program and receive a certificate to be considered as meeting the new industry standards.

The new law also states that all food service establishments must have at least one certified food service sanitation manager on duty at all operational times.

    In order to receive your Food Protection Manager certificate, you will need to complete the exam in a proctored environment.
