    State  Regulations

    New Mexico’s Food Regulations require every food establishment to have a Certified Food Protection Manager on shift at all times.

    It’s required that the employee take an accredited food safety course and pass an exam afterward to receive a certification. Recertification must be obtained every 5 years.

    In order to receive your Food Protection Manager certificate, you will need to complete the exam in a proctored environment.
