For the Food Protection Manager exam, it is mandatory that the exam is supervised by a proctor. A proctor is an approved, neutral person who ensures the integrity of the environment, security of the exam, and to confirm the identity of the person taking the exam.

  • ANSI Accredited Certificate - Valid for 5 Years (Ohio Level 2 Certification)

    Once you pass your exam you will receive a Food Manager Certificate which will prove to your manager or local health inspector that you have the mandatory certification required.

    This Manager Certification is Nationally Accredited at the Same Level as ServSafe.

Remote Proctoring - Train & Test at Home

We are offering you the opportunity to take your exam remotely, meaning you can complete your training and exam at home.

Internal Proctoring (Save on proctoring fees)

We can offer your company the ability to proctor exams for you and your staff members for no cost. You would simply take the training online, and then the proctor could sit down with you and proctor the exam. Becoming a proctor can take less than 15 minutes!

Classroom exams are available through our network of proctors.

Our Certification is Accepted Across Ohio

Businesses with risk levels III or IV need at least one employee per establishment with "Manager Certification," (Level Two)

To earn Manager Certification, you need to complete our approved course through an approved provider. Once you've completed the course, you'll need to pass our proctored exam. Finally, you'll submit an application with the ODH.
