California Manager Content - Mandatory
It is a legal requirement across the whole of California that there is at least one ANSI Certified Food Protection Manager on shift at any time where food is being served.
According to the California Environmental Health Department:
To comply with California Law, every retail food facility must ensure that:
- At least one employee be certified in food safety by passing an approved Food Safety Manager Certification, and
- All other employees involved in the preparation, storage or service of food in a food facility must obtain a Food Handler Card
Always Food Safe’s Proctored Exam is ANSI accredited meaning that a Health Inspector will accept this training when they are completing an inspection of your business.
