Certifications for Food Protection Managers is mandatory in Idaho state.
According to Idaho Food Code an ‘accredited program’ is the only certification accepted:
“ACCREDITED PROGRAM" means a FOOD protection manager certification program that has been evaluated and listed by an accrediting agency as conforming to national standards for organizations that certify individuals.”
Always Food Safe’s Training & Exam is an ANSI accredited program, so it will be accepted throughout the state.
