State Requirements

Every food establishment must have a manager on duty or a designated Person in Charge during hours of operation. The Person in Charge is required by law to be a Certified Food Protection Manager. That person must be able to demonstrate their knowledge of food safety standards.

    In order to receive your Food Protection Manager certificate, you will need to complete the exam in a proctored environment.
