Food Protection Manager - Utah - All counties (Exam only)
The State of Utah passed legislation that requires all foodservice establishments to have at least one Certified Food Protection Manager working at all times, during operational hours.
This certification must be obtained by completing an ANSI Accredited Food Protection Manager Training and Exam from an accredited company every 3 years. Always Food Safe’s Training & Exam is accredited across the state.
Please be aware of the following Health Department County costs that you will have to pay upon completion if you work in the following counties:
Central Utah - Must submit copy of certificate to Health Department.
Davis County - $15 processing fee.
Salt Lake County - $15 registration fee.
Summit County - $25.00 fee if your certificate is expired longer than 30 days.
Wasatch County - $10 to receive permit from Health Department.
Weber-Morgan - $20 Health Department Fee.
In order to receive your Food Protection Manager certificate, you will need to complete the exam in a proctored environment.
