Training must be completed in 120 days; however, some municipalities have stricter restrictions. For example, Chicago requires alcohol sellers and servers to be trained within 60 days of hire.
21 years of age is the minimum age to sell
4 hours of training required
70% is the minimum passing score on the final exam
There are unlimited exam retakes
Certification renewal is required every 3 years

The Illinois Liquor Control Commission typically mails your official Basset license to your home address. However, the Illinois Liquor Control Commission (ILCC) recently said they will not mail the Basset license cards to your home address. We believe this is a temporary change as they have been instituting many changes and updates to their entire program.
