According to the Wyoming Food and Consumer Safety Bureau their mission is to “safeguard the public health and provide to consumers, food that is safe, unadulterated and honestly prepared."
They currently follow the FDA Food Code 2013, so Food Handler Certification is not a mandatory requirement.
However, when a Health Inspector comes to visit a foodservice premise they will be looking for a ‘Demonstration of Knowledge’ from staff, and Always Food Safe’s online, ANSI accredited Food Handler training can provide this.
This certificate WILL be accepted by your Manager
